Here’s Some Cool Info You Might Not Know!
WatercoolingUK was founded in 2004, back when custom watercooling was still niche — experimental, enthusiast-driven, and far from mainstream. At the time, cooling your PC with liquid was reserved for only the boldest builders chasing ultra-low temperatures, silence, or that eye-catching aesthetic edge.
From the very beginning, we’ve proudly supported both emerging community-led brands and global manufacturers. We were early champions of now industry-leading names like XSPC, EKWB, Hardware Labs, and many more. Our goal has always been to offer a wide, reliable range of products while helping to shape and grow the UK watercooling scene into the thriving market it is today.
What started as a humble eBay storefront quickly transitioned into a full-blown eCommerce website within just 6 months! and we’ve never looked back. With over 20 years of trading experience, we’ve remained successful by staying competitive on price, understanding what enthusiasts and gamers really want, and constantly adapting to evolving tech trends.
Fast forward to now, and the demand has never been higher. Whether it’s for remote workstations, high-performance gaming rigs, or showpiece builds, more people than ever are diving into watercooling — driven by the rise of AIO coolers, custom loops, and the unstoppable momentum of Esports and streaming culture.
As the UK’s largest dedicated watercooling supplier, we’re proud to offer the widest selection of watercooling gear in the country, along with knowledgeable support, great value, and exclusive deals all year round.
Thanks for being part of our journey — here’s to the next 20 years of building cooler, quieter, and better PCs together.
Where Are We Based?
We’re proud to call Trafford Park Village in Manchester our home, and since 2020, we’ve been operating from our purpose-built HQ in the heart of the North West.
When the world hit pause during the height of COVID-19, and many businesses were forced to shut their doors, WatercoolingUK kept moving. While others were scaling back, we pushed forward, continuing to supply critical components to businesses adapting to remote work and keeping the UK’s PC hardware scene alive and flowing.
Incredibly, in the middle of that uncertainty, we completed a full warehouse move right on schedule. Originally planned for June 2020, our relocation went ahead as planned, and we officially opened the doors to our new home, a 6,000 sq ft facility across two floors, complete with modern offices, a dedicated customer collection point, and a private staff and customer car park.
The space has been a game-changer, enabling us to scale operations, handle larger volumes, and meet the growing demands of today’s fast-paced market, all while leaving room for future expansion.
And it didn’t stop there. In November 2020, we proudly became the exclusive worldwide distributor for XSPC, a brand that’s now a key part of our in-house lineup and a reflection of our commitment to innovation and performance to sit along side our already popular Hardware Labs and Alphacool Distributed ranges.
What’s next? Who knows. But just like we have for the past 20 years, we’ll continue to ride the wave and stay ahead of the curve.
